hi mark its all about the press for me its cleaner on your hands as well as your lungs, your not setting off smoke alarms and you can press with water in the pipe which is a big bonus, what about the solder price as well as flux, thanks for the video it just confirmed what I knew, press is dearer but better for the environment and for me regards John

Hi Mark, am loving your channel, it is SO watchable as you explain everything with clarity, you also come across as a very conscientious and good man, which is always great to see. When I watch these kind of videos on youtube, I often wonder what the completion price was, but this is often not mentioned. I appreciate that this is actually none of our business as a viewer, but ball park figures/typical costs are interesting for viewers, and I wondered what your thoughts on this were. Hi Mark , I'm old school "always use instantar fittings , thoes copper fittings you always use have o rings, I googled the life span of o rings and they say a shelf life fifteen years , thats with no expansion and contracting , the video you showed when the o ring fell out before you crimped the fitting, was some leak , I taught the tool would have caused the fitting to have a good bite on the pipe without the ring , pressured heating systems with inhibitors could reduce the life of an o ring significantly, olives last longer than some of the buildings they are installed in , what's your taught on my question??.... Like the channel

hi bro great video. I have a similar problem with my pump. Installed new showers mixers new taps for 2 bathrooms and brand new roundfoss 3bar positive pump.....it's pulsing and I ve done everything....

That screw in the pipe was a great save. Never knew you can blob a bit solder onto the outside of the pipe. Hopefully wont ever need to try it. Enjoying your videos mate
